Tai Chi/Chi Gong
Introduction to Tai Chi/Chi Gong – over 2,000 years old and still growing
What is Tai Chi and Chi Gong?
Tai Chi and Chi Gong are unique Chinese exercises that promotes the natural flow of Chi which aids in the body’s ability to uphold good health.
When energy or Chi (which flows through the body) becomes blocked, it can contribute to stress, fatigue and ill-health.
How can it help?
We introduce students to Tai Chi and Chi Gong, teaching specific exercises which are designed to restore the natural flow of Chi, which automatically reduces the symptoms of stress, tension and fatigue.
Each Chi Gong movement relates to a particular organ or energy channel (meridian) in the body, and students are introduced to the specific health benefits which are related to the various movements.
Students experience the benefits of practicing Tai Chi/Chi Gong, helping them feel energised, rejuvenated and refreshed – with improved levels of concentration.
Exercises combine simple breathing techniques with physical movements. No previous exercise experience is necessary and all levels of fitness is catered for.
As daily exercises, students experiencing fatigue can apply the techniques when necessary.
